Hello and welcome to the fourth annual Modern Conflict Archaeology Conference at the University of Bristol. The conference will take place on Saturday 20th October 2012 in the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of Bristol.

The conference was started to open up the research of modern conflict across the globe. We pride ourselves in our multi-disciplinary approach and welcome papers from all academic areas from archaeology and anthropology to literature and military history. The conference is free to attend and is open to anyone interested in the study of modern conflict.

We have recently issued our call for papers and we welcome speakers from any university on the world who are currently engaged in post-graduate study.

On this website you will find details of when and where the conference will be held, as well as information on previous papers.

The conference is usually heavily subscribed, so please use the contact page to let us know if you are interested in attending.
